SUMMARY
CONNECT BBC is seeking responsible and professional non-CDL drivers to transport passengers in smaller vehicles such as vans and SUVs. ROLE
As a Non-CDL Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers in smaller vehicles, such as vans or SUVs. Your mission is to ensure customers have a pleasant, safe, and timely journey. You will serve as the face of CONNECT BBC, representing our values of customer care and safety.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
Safely transport passengers in vehicles seating fewer than 16 passengers, such as vans or SUVs.
Arrive at pickup locations 10 minutes before scheduled time and provide timely service.
Greet passengers upon arrival, assist with luggage, and ensure a comfortable ride.
Track flight arrivals for airport pickups and adjust schedules as necessary.
Communicate any delays, traffic updates, or issues to dispatch promptly.
Perform daily vehicle inspections and complete inspection reports.
Clean and maintain the vehicle between trips, ensuring it is ready for the next ride.
Fuel the vehicle at the end of each shift.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Excellent customer service skills and a professional attitude.
General knowledge of the local area, including major streets and landmarks.
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly.
Team-oriented with the ability to work cooperatively and patiently.
Experience with operating standard vehicle features such as A/C, heat, and audio systems.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist passengers with their luggage.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be 25 years of age or older.
Minimum of three (3) years of driving experience with a clean driving record.
No DUI, reckless driving, or major violations in the last 3 years.
Ability to pass a DOT medical examination and drug test.
Must possess a smartphone and be comfortable using apps for trip management.
Availability to work split shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
License requirements vary by station and will be specified during the application process.
PAY
Washington, DC: $900-$1,400 per week + cash tips.
Baltimore, MD: $700-$1,100 per week + cash tips.
Kansas City, MO: $14.70/hour + cash tips.
San Diego, CA: $15.00/hour + cash tips.
Los Angeles, CA: $22.50/hour + cash tips.
